Fresh and Easy Guacamole

This recipe is super simple and sooooo delicious!

Fresh Guacamole

  • 2 Haas Avocados
  • 1 t. finely chopped jalapeno with seeds (mild)/ or 2 t. finely chopped jalapeno (medium)/ or 3 t. finely chopped serrano’s (hot)
  • 2 t. finely chopped red onion
  • 2 t. finely chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 t. finely chopped garlic (I normally use 1 large clove)
  • 2 t. finely chopped tomato
  • 1/2 lime (only the juice)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Add the avocados to a medium sized mixing bowl along with the juice from the lime to keep the avocados from turning brown. Then add the remaining ingredients and use either a potato masher to mash up or a fork. Mash until the guacamole is to the consistency you like. I personally like mine on the chunky side. I don’t suggest making this in a food processor, simply because the chopped veggies will become almost non-existent. Serve with tortilla chips or even use as a spread on a sandwich!

Simple as that! This is a fresh and delicious treat for any day of the week. Hope you enjoy.
